Description
The Jungle Edge is a technical biome that serves as a buffer between Jungle biomes and drastically different biomes. It features sparser tree coverage and less undergrowth than regular Jungles, creating a more gradual transition in vegetation density. This biome is one of the rarest in Minecraft, especially the Modified Jungle Edge variant which only generates between Jungles and Swamps. The terrain is flatter than regular Jungles, making it ideal for building while maintaining a tropical aesthetic.
How to Find
Jungle Edge biomes generate as thin transition zones between Jungles and other biomes. Look for areas where dense jungle foliage gradually thins out into other terrain types. These rare biomes are usually found bordering Deserts, Savannas, or Plains.
